Draping

I'm asking if anyone can share their differant ways of draping hoods where tucking at the firewall is not an option. I have always used the ol' tape on tape method except it has never held up like I would like it. Any and all suggestions would be appreciative

When we set up is it ofter a little bit of everything, Tucking, clipping, taping. You eliminated two! Sometimes we hang a drape from the outside of the hood on the drop ceiling track with clips. Seems like you have to use a few methods to get some jobs right. Even though tucking is not an option here is a tucking trick anyway. The space between the hood and wall is kinda big so we use a wet rag as a filler and tuck behind the rag. When we have to tape along the bottom of the hood the area to be taped iis hand washed and rinsed thoughly. Sometimes we just cover whatever we have to on the back wall, electrical etc, drape plastic over the appliances and let the water run down the back wall. Then , of course you have to wash the back wall and under the appliances. AND ..............thats what the customer complains about. The back wall. AGHHHHHHHHHH
Yes I use contaminated plastic on the appliances. ABU plastic.
Already Been Used. I just pray for the people that have to eat off the stove.

Try suction cups and clamp the plastic to the cups, you can reverse the clamps so they are pressing the plastic to the back slpash. Another othion is to clamp the plastic to the bottom of the plenum where the filters meet and clean below it with degreaser and brillos ( basicly you cut you losses)

Well like people have talked about before will they stick to stainless. The problem is on the back firewall. This is a new system and the owners don't want the caulk torn out, or damaged.

Then have them clean it, in the first cleaning a portion will come out-no thought is give to the cleaning process - chemical-hot water and high pressure.
