Do any of you use electric washers combined with the customers hot water???? If so what kind of results are you getting from this combination??? I am thinking of useing my big hot water skid to get new accounts into shape, and then maintaining them with an electric unit, do you think I'm on the right track?

I carry them as backup and for places I can't get the bigger machine like malls, we sometime will use it in conjuction with the big machine to move a job along. You will find some people on this board who use a small electric, however my expierience has been in my area I cannot count on the hot water always lasting through the job, and as you know grease and cold water don't mix. All you can really do is experiment, if you have the big machine with you just in case what do you have to lose?

My first PW was a 220V electric. Advantages were the small size so I could take it into the resturant. Sometimes I would run out of hot water, ;the pessure was only 1100 PSI. The bigest hassle was the number of 220 Volt adaptors I needed to carry so the machine would work.I upgraded to a gas powered PW, w /hot water. I found I could do more, faster and better. Then I got a 3,000 PSI 5 GPM Delco and found I could do even more, faster, and better.

My advice, if you really want a back-up, use the electric, but be aware the big machine is better.

I agree with Douglas and Bryan. Electrics are fine and in some cases the only way if the system cannot be accessed with your bigger equipment.

We have several electric pumps but only count on them when we have to!:)
