Equipment Question

Looking through the post and at your individual websites I see that most of you use a hot water pressure washer. The contacts that I have include builders, pool contractors, general contractors, real estates agents, and landscape contractors. The first three will probably only need new concrete cleaning and the last two cleaning existing flatwork and house washing.

Due to budget restraints I was looking at the following purchases:

1) Decent cold water belt driven pressure washer 3500/4000psi 3.7/4gpm
2) Flat surface cleaner
3) Telescoping wand / X-jet or something similar to clean high areas
4) Extra pressure hose, garden hoses and accessories

I already own some water containment devices left over from my defunct concrete business.

I plan on building a skid to mount the equipment on to fit into a late model pickup.

My next purchase will be a hot box.

Will appreciate your comments…

That will get you going, for a cold water unit the 3500 @ 4 gpm is about as small as I would go. Pressure is good but you could step up the flow a little for increased speed. For a surface cleaner I would recommend a 18 or 20" cleaner. Going larger than that with a small cold water just isn't practical, performance wise.
