Essential start up chemicals and where to get them

Hi guys
im moving over from the uk and want to save as much trial and error as possible finding the right equipment and chemical suppliers here in the uk I have 5 or 6 companies that I know are better in value than others on one thing but not on others even though they all stock the same stuff!

What I would like help with is what you would buy as essential chemicals and kit if like me you were flying in on fri and had a complete business to set up over 6 weeks.

So far I'm picking up a dodge flatbed dually with 20hp belt driven 3000psi 4gpm washer with 300gallon tank and reels.

Im importing my own water fed pole system which I'll be reselling too, as to date there is no supplier in the USA who has thought about the designs properly from a window cleaners needs, cSo I did it myself, it will also be way cheaper than anything else on offer and very flexible being easy to use from a truck,trailer or van, if anyone is interested the first four are nearly finished then they will be on a boat from the uk for a mth.

My first priority is the window cleaning and pressure washing service so I can pay the bills , then the supply side for those of. You interested in how we do things in the uk will be ready in 4/6 weeks

I'm looking to be 95% window cleaning and the rest will be house washing ,driveways ,I want to train myself up on washing roofs, more likely I'll train staff for that job though as I'm happiest with my feet on the ground! That's been my model here in the uk and to be honest the way I work is a lot easier than pressure washing so I really offer it as an add on to my window cleaning customers.

As for the water fed kit I just came back yesterday from the engineering company building my equipment and have made more additions and improvements to the second prototype , it puts me behind but I won't let them start production until I'm happy. it's important to me that when they come out that anyone switched on will realise how good they are. I'm confident that other suppliers will be playing catch up with some of the features. As it was designed with the things I wished a system could do and especially targeted for the usa market where it will be suited to any vechicle set up
but will look really slick on a pick up or trailer.
when I'm working it will make me faster and more productive, to match the modifications I made to my set up here
with my kit you can set up once in the morning and pack up once at the end of the day, I'm working 60 secs from pulling up on a job. over a day with my methods I normally shave 1/2 hours off my day I'll admit I go home early rather than work longer though lol.

Kit list includes :
Two man system 100m hose reels
4 stage filtration with 40/40 hf5 r/o membrane + carbon,sediment and DI filters
twin varistream controllers with remote controls
inline tds meter
auto fill shut off
Built in 12 v battery with split charge relay
quick release fitting system and lifting handles ( unit can be released from anchorage system in 30 secs to transfer from truck to trailer/van etc)



The components above will do exactly what a window cleaner needs, no flashing lights, unnecessary gauges or any other gimmicks. If you get one of these hook it to your truck battery install the float switch in your tank and your in business i will be supplying tanks too but I'll source them in the USA (allied is about buying British and USA where I can)

The features that will set it apart both in the USA and UK will become apparent on release

The reason I started to build the kit was when I decided I'd move I tried sourcing my equipment in the USA when looking at the prices of equipment I was shocked you guys have been paying for poles and filtration systems.


Of course I'm in it to make money but My philosophy will be to make good kit at a fair price.
And compared to all the stuff I've seen I'm confident that it will be a no brainer to shoot for my set up
