I havnt seen any up to date info on these type of bids, or im missing them lol. I have been asked to bid the fedex ground terminal in the area and would just like some up to date info on : whats expected, pricing, chems (if any). The basics. Shoot me an email if possible. Thanks.

You might want to fill out your signature so we know who you are and where you are located.

You also might go and introduce your self and talk a little bit about yourself before asking and/or demanding answers for things, it is just a little bit more polite.

look into the specifics of this, ground's operators contract is or has changed recently. Now fedex will not be paying for washes anymore so you will have to deal with each individual subcontractor that owns the routes. Meaning if one is not happy or doesn't want to wash this week he doesn't have to.

I do appologize for the lack of intro on my end. I wasnt trying to be rude or demanding. Lol i wish i had more time to hop on here and converse more at times but its the busy season for me and i tend to put more irons in the fire than i can handle :yikes: Lets start over, Hi, my names tyler and ive been washing for 2.5 years now and also work for a freight forwarder/broker part time. I generally only do resi work and detailing, car lot washes etc... But before this i drove for fedex for 6 years started my own gig one day....so now years later the Sr terminal manager actually called me and wants me to bid em, i have all the insurance i need and they do not allow the heated washers in the facility here (not sure why). I actually happen to know the rates they are paying for their current washes as over the years i got to know the current wash guy, and yes the rates are avg/below avg i would guess.

Im bidding on quality not bidding to "get the job". Its not worth it to low ball. thats not business and people who pay cheap rates for bad service are a waste of a lot of washers time.

Anyhow, thats it in a shelll... open for suggestons. like i said i simply dont have time to get on here like id like to, i usually read up while dozing off in bed lol

GO to your profile and add your signature and name of your company. The guys would appreciate it.

Here they are doing them with a automated wash the drivers laugh at what a crappy job they do fed ex here just wasted 300,000 grand on a automated truck wash that doesnt worth a crap.

If you are not bidding on price bid for what you want to make on the job and buy a lottery ticket because if you get it you will probably win the lottery too...

FedEx is price driven if you are not close to their expected rate they will not use you. You could be a little higher than the current guy if they are doing a bad job but it really comes down to their budgets.

Most likely they are white trucks. That's a good thing. Most brown soaps will work ok and a brightener to clean up the wheels with a 2 step. It's all about labor and materials. Bid accordingly.
