I never even tell people I use Maze, its ridiculous and not like landa. When I bought mine Landa Owned it and ran it.

Its like Shark they have made it look good but really other products work as good for less.

I'm sorry and thats why i do not tell guys about my recovery , i would never recommend it.

Hands Down buy Sirocco next time.

Are you wanting to just recover, process and dispose of wash water or recover and re-use the wash water?

This is what will determine what systems you will need additional to what you have or to replace what you have to do the job you want to do.

The water maze works good I was just trying to accomplish the impossible. I want spot free rinse water water from my system. I'm talking with an RO company now.

Without spending a fortune, it is very hard to get soap out of wash water. There are methods and systems out there but simple filters and mazes will not get soap out of wash water no matter what B.S. any vendor out there says.

When you think about it, the soap is mixed in with the water, it is not a sediment that can be filtered out or an oil that can be absorbed by oil socks/booms/pads or collected by plates in an oil/water separator.

There are little systems that are being sold by vendors that mislead you to think that you can capture and re-use that water by just filtering it but they are not telling you the whole story and what is involved and they really don't want to talk about soaps being used if they know anything about soaps not coming out of water by using filters.
Some of the vendors out there know that soap does not come out of wash water easily or cheaply, a lot of others out there have no clue, they just sell equipment and say what they need to make a sale.

The soap has to be removed by more sophisticated methods.

If you re-use the soapy water then you will have all kinds of haze and films on the surfaces that will not just rinse off easily.

Do some searching here on this bbs and you will learn a lot about this info.

The Company I'm talking with tells me a good commercial RO will give me the results I'm looking for. He also told me for every 1000 gallons I run through the RO around 400 will be considered waste and 600 spot free. I had to send him a sample of my reclaim water so he could break it down. It's not going to be cheap but if I can re use 600 of every 1000 I reclaim it's worth it to me in the long run.

I would ask for 2 things.

1. A money back guarantee that it will take out fleet washing soaps and aluminum brighteners.

2. A guarantee in writing that it will do the above so when it does not do what you need you can take it back and get your money back.

Giving you the results you are looking for is probably before you read my posts and probably did not think about taking soap out of the wash water. If taking soap out of the wash water then get everything in writing and you are good to go, if not then I would avoid this vendor as he fits into the category I listed in the other post.

One thing you need to learn about chemical salesmen, vendors and anyone else that sells for a living, Don't believe everything that they say as they are selling you something for a commission and a lot of times will tell you what you want to hear to make the sale. Get things in writing so you are protected against their lies, B.S. and being mislead.

Based on past advice on guys new to the bbs and other bbs's out there you will probably just go out there and listen to what they sell you and buy it and when it does not do like they lied to you, you will come back here and/or other bbs' and complain about them, how they lied to you and how you are stuck with an over-priced piece of garbage that does not work and desperately need advice on how to make things work when you could have easily avoided the future B.S. and headaches by demanding the results you need in writing from their equipment with a money-back guarantee if it does not work like what you need and not just a 30 or 60 day guarantee, you need about 4 to 6 months to really test the system.

Good luck in your future purchase.

I know what your saying I have been looking into this for about a year have talked with a lot of sales guys . The guy I have been talking with has been building these for years. He's supposed to give me a quote this week that will determine if it's worth it to me.

I am not sure if a r/o system alone would be able to filter out the soaps. If you put a mixed bed di tank after the r/o system that should be good enough for fleet washing purpose's.
