Well since I decided to let go of the residential crap and stick to commercial and add fleets, I went after the oil/gas fleets that are everywhere around here. I landed a good one today. 30 trucks and watertank trailers, twice monthly at <<<drum roll please>>>$70.00 each rig. They supply the Brown soap and the Citriclean for the trailers. And they wanted me to start tomorrow. I'm leaving to go visit my parents for an early Christmas or I would have started tonight!!! Now I guess I better learn how to wash a truck!! :yikes:

That is great Danny!

Congratulations!

congrats

Here are some pics I took with my Blackberry. I forgot to bring the camera two days in a row. These trucks haul saltwater to oil and gas well sites. They hadn't been washed in two months. They were really bad.

That is really great Danny!

Congratulations again.

Danny, are you soaping/brushing them? 2-Stepping them? Using something like Panel Bright?

I know how you feel about trucks with a long cycle between washes, one account is 10 weeks between washing but the first time was the hardest because it was longer than that since they were washed last.

We are on the second round of truck washing and it is going faster, from 2-2.5 hours each down to an hour each and there is still room to speed up once the new system is in place.

We are lifting the bed and cab, washing and degreasing the frame rails, engine, transmission, etc.... then washing the caked mud off everything then lowering the bed and cab and doing a truck wash. It is a whole lot more work than a regular truck wash but they are also paying more for it.

Have you tried the Panel Bright? It is some good soap.
