Fixed Chemical Injector vs. Adjustable Chemical Injector

I was in the market to purchase a fixed chemical injector as my adjustable one broke on me. Now I know that the fixed injectors are better than the adjustable ones but my question is the following:

On my adjustable injector when I turn the dial it shuts off the chemical from going through. How would you shut off the fixed chemical injector if I were to connect it to my water lines or will it be constantly on and need to be removed and installed every time you want to use it?

Thanks,

Use different nozzles, small ball valve or pull the hose out of the detergent and put into bucket of water to flush the injector out like Ed mentioned.

There are also remote controls that you can get rigged up for a few hundred dollars with solenoids so you can control it when away from the trailer.

It is just personal choice as to how you want to do this.

I crank my ball valve back just about a 1/4 turn and it stops pulling chems. Open it back up all the way and it pulls again. I mostly only do this when using a 0030 tip and still need to rinse second and third story window and walls etc...

Larry,or anyone, do you happen to have a picture of your ball valve setup?
