Average, mediocre, ok.....whatever you want to call it, it does a great job, it is at a good price, the customers are very happy and I am making money with it and that is all that matters.
After trying about 11 different brands of soaps and brighteners out there, listening to vendor's B.S., lies, lies about ratios, lies about how good the stuff works and any other lie that comes out of their mouth when their lips are moving I have stuck to what works.
I am like a few other guys like Danny over on FWA who tell the vendor to send a sample and I will give it a try and if it works then I will buy it but I am done wasting money on crap that does not work. I tell them to send at least a 5 gallon pail to try it out on trucks and I will give them an honest answer and if it works better than what I am using now then I will buy it.
1 gallon samples are barely enough liquid to fill up the lines in the system and barely wash anything so a 5 gallon pail would be enough to wash some trucks and see if it is good or like most typical crap.
I won't bash any vendors so I won't talk about their weak ass chemicals but I will mention a few that actually work, especially on the hard to clean jobs, regular maintenance accounts will not need chemicals as strong so there might be other chemicals out there that are good also, just have not found that many yet.
I have used the AB55 from Jerry at Omega chemicals along with Magic wash from Aqua Wash solutions and it is a good brightener and does what I need it to on the tough to wash trucks and trailers.
I have used the Panel Bright from Russ at Southside Equipment and it is a great soap.
I have used the MC Thunder from Brad Jarman at Midwest Cleaning Solutions and it is a great soap also.
