It can be Small !!!!!!

Maybe a Lead, maybe a Tip, Maybe just a phone call that Made you motivated.

It really can be anything...

First Twelve Guys this Weekend Get a Hat, if we go by 12 Keep them coming anyway. YOU still might get a Hat!!!

I really like PWI because people like Ron Musgraves have given me great business advice over the years and has never let me down or given me bad advice.

When I started my business after working with other companies for over 12 years prior doing pressure washing, reading forums, especially PWI given me a lot of great advice about chemicals, pressure washers, business, marketing and other areas that would have taken me a lot of years to learn on my own if ever.

I want to thank PWI and Ron Musgraves for having this site for us to learn, meet great contractors and keep up with current technology that comes out to the contractors.

Thanks PWI and Ron Musgraves.

duplicate for some reason

Ron,

You are the one I would like to Thank. You have been such a big part in the reason Xstream is the company it is today. You told me 5 years ago that me & my company could not afford to miss an event. As hard as it was for Jamie & I to attend, we listened to you and went. It changed our lives. Thank you for believing in us. You mean so much to this industry, its going to be a sad day when you retire. Love you brother!

The obvious comes to mind first and that's everyone here that has helped me, or anyone else, learn something of value. That includes anything that has helped someone with equipment setup or recommendations, or job quoting to heartfelt messages to those in a moment of need.

PWI is a very generous group of people and thanking them all individually would take a long, long time.

If I had to thank a few specific people I would thank Josh Davis for donating a pressure washer to my collection; "Cleaner" for donating a JROD (including tips) to my collection; and Larry Millette for donating his time and experience. If I win (another) hat, send it to one of these guys with my thanks.

I think one of the most important things is the ability to be able to pickup the phone and call most anyone on here and get helpful answers. I've done it numerous times and have made some new friends in doing so. Although some of the things don't directly effect me it brings to light how to deal with things if/when they come up.

I appreciate Larry Millette for all the help he has given me through the years, but most of all for his friendship...

I also appreciate the most unsuccessful, non elitist, fantasy contractors I have ever met. Scott Stone, Tony Shelton, and Ron Musgraves.

Their advice and friendship mean more than they'll ever know.

I would like to thank everyone that contributes here. without their contributions I would be on a ladder with a spray bottle of some store bought cleaner. But Russ over at Southside equipment for taking the time to help me with chem questions, Paul and Bill at the pressure wash store for their help and service, Scott Stone for taking the time to set my questions straight about concrete , Ron for answering all my calls and to Tony S, for opening my mind and eyes to things non pressure wash related. like Red said the list is endless, so a great big THANKS to everyone.

I would like first of all to thank Ron Musgraves that took the time to give me a call about 3 years ago when I registered on PWI... It's not everyday or on every board that someone will take the time to welcome personnaly a new member and I wanted to personnaly thank you for that Ron!

Why I like PWI? Very simple, there's a lot of subjects about different areas of the pressure washing industry with very knowledgeable people. A lot of infos can be found here about equipment, chemicals, techniques, etc... When you ask, for sure you'll get an answer!

Those are the reasons why I like PWI!

I love PWI because there is so much information on here and people who are actually willing to help others, instead of saying, "that topic was covered once 3 years ago. Start searching."

PWI is the reason I joined the UAMCC. Their BOD is made up of people who have gone out of their way to help me. Oh, and Chris Tucker deserves a shout out too, for all the advice he's given me on forums and over the phone. I can't even believe all the connections I've made with expert in this business through PWI.

Hats are nice, iPads are great, all the contests and prizes are wonderful too. The thing is, all of these will come and go but the knowledge , information and personal friendships that have been made here on pwi is something that will last forever. Many of us are like family here on PWI. I would NEVER be where I am today if it were not from some of the great advice of folks that make up this family. I was pushed by Chris Tucker years ago to come over here and besides all of the advice he had/ has given me over the years, coming here has got to be on the top of the list. The friendships and the bond that I have with people like Ron, Doug Rucker, Nick, Kory Jeff L, Chris Chappell , Greg Nash and many others has not only made me better as a contractor but as a human being and for that I am forever greatful. I am not making this post to win anything. Just wanted to express my gratitude.... ( But just in case. You do have my address right Ron? ) lol

I'm a vendor in here, ..so I don't expect a hat, ..and I don't "enter to win" the I-pad deals, ..but I must say..
The primary reason for a club, association, a forum, or whatever "regular gathering" of any community..
is to help people grow their interests, whilst solving industry and community problems,
..and especially planning futures..
A simple little suggestion from one guy, can be life-changing revelation for another.
This forum was bound to happen. But..
Ron's years of experience in coaching kids (and parents) on a baseball field made his concept of what this forum should be..
The quality of the PWI forum is a direct result of Ron's meticulous nature, and management skills.
Not everyone "gets" his "go-fast" "bulldozer-style".. but I sure do,
..and as this forum is an ongoing success of educational value and community spirit,
I sincerely hope the community always perpetuates Ron's style of planning, and working together,
in continued education.. ..especially the working together part of "community behavior" and spirit.
This is primarily an industry of simple small-business-model entrepreneurs..
Because of the amazing wealth of cleaning method process and procedure..
in just a few weeks a total beginner" can skip right over what would have been 3 to 5 years of "learning it the hard way"
And inversely.. keeping a good percentage of hacker-tendencies from becoming hacker-realities
is additionally priceless..
To grow your business, you need info.
Everyone that is "superficial to informative people" ..is handicapped.. and not really your competition.
People that are respectful of, and try to work with "the technically inclined" ..
grow faster, do better work for their customers, get more referrals, are more easily motivated,
live with less stress, and have more success in their day.

I am personally thankfull for this forum, and continue to learn from the community.
Thank you all for additionally inspiring me,
and I am ever gratefull to Ron and his supporters for tirelessly making all this happen.

2nd rule of Marketing..
selling to groups of people is like "herding cats". (RON ABSOLUTELY EXCELLS AT THIS..)
3rd rule..
Carefully placed "magnets" attract all the right things to happen.
4th rule..
perpetuating "happy cats" through inspiration is (usually) less expensive than "buying them all lunch".
..and leaves less of a mess on the floor.

Without Ron or PWI I would be way further back in my business's progress. From the little tips I have learned here and there I have saved a lot of hassle. I might go a couple weeks and not log on to PWI and when I do I notice I am much more motivated to succedd than I was the day before. I am trying to make it a daily habit to visit PWI cause even if its the littlest bit of information, its something I didn't know before and helps me look better to my customers

I want to thank Jim Gamble. Without him, I would likely be the most ego-maniacal person in the pressure washing industry.

Honestly, I would thank Ron, but his head would get too big. I should probably thank all of the people that I know I can call whenever, to let me know that I am not the nuttiest person out there. Sometimes, I really need that. So, here it is to you, Tony, Doug, Ron, Russ, Guy and unlimited others that have allowed me to vent when I am really frustrated with how I am being portrayed.

But we know what you are about so don't sweat it. ( easy for me to say I know BUT) let it roll..

I want to thank Ron Musgraves!!

I started my business in 2001 and was rolling along pretty good, I kind of had things on cruise control but in 09 I took a hit and things were starting to drop off.

I started looking around me at other power washers and saw how they were really marketing but going places and I decided it was time for me to get my head out of the sand.

It was then that Ron got ahold of me and told me I had to be in Ft Worth Texas for the RT!!

I finally made the decision to go, had a good time and came home and put some of it to practice and have been growing each year since by a good margin!!

Thanks Ron!!!!

I would like to thank my wife for putting up with me, for washing some of the dirtiest clothes you have ever seen and still laying next to me in bed at night.
