Future of Truck Washing Organizations

I agree with Dave, the pricing is too low for the service that is provided, but you will always have people trying to undercut your pricing. They come in, shoot out a low price in an effort to get business which sets the percieved pricepoint (again) with the local fleet managers, so that for the next 5 years they all think that everyone should be giving them a $4 truck wash. Meanwhile, the person that gave them the low price has been out of business after 6 months to a year in most cases since what little work he did get he lost money and didn't run a good business.

Yes, I agree with you. Summertime it really slows down too. I would like to get more people involved and I am working on it, but so far it's baby steps. You probably noticed that I encouraged all registered members to reaquaint themselves with Fleetwashacademy, and I was surprised that I did get around 10 check in that hadn't in a very long time. I didn't check it today, but it's even more quiet on the weekends! I'm hoping that they can do the updates on the site this weekend, and maybe that will help too.

Summer is a very busy season for all aspects of pressure washing so there might not be much traffic on the Fleet Wash Academy bbs right now but that does not mean that people are not going there, just that people are busy out there working.
