need some help on what pressure to use. I can adjust the pressure on my washer. I want to use it for houses, drives, cars etc. any help would be great thanks. any tips and tricks would be very helpfull as well

As was pointed out above, theres no substitute for several hours of searching/reading back posts.

That being said, the only thing we use 3000 psi or close to it is on concrete. Houses we use around 2000 psi or so. Decks 1200 psi or even less............and cars wouldnt need much pressure either.

I prefer to use different sized tips to alter my pressures. For deck cleaning, I use a dual lance wand instead.

thanks for all your help. now i have another question. since i'm just starting the budget is low. my washer is a 2700psi 2.5gpm. I have the tank and everything mounted in the back of my truck. 275gal. tank. i have to install a shurflo pump to pump water from the tank to the washer. d.d. washer pump. is the shurflo pumps water proof? what other things should i be looking out for i don't want to screw up my washer. thanks again

No, they're not waterproof...You'll want to have some sort of cover for it. Why are you using a tank for such a small unit? Not sure the type of work you're doing, but for residential, I can't imagine a job where you'd need a tank, even on a well.

It just seems like a lot of trouble to be able to run a tank, unless you absolutely need it.

You should have a unit with a minimum of 4gpm.... Anything less and your raising the amount of time it's going to take to do the job. Gpm is what does the cleaning,,, pressure is needed but its not nearly important as gpm.
