Good deal or Bad Deal?

So I am a newbe and in my excitement to get started I went ahead and bought a used Hydro Tek SS30005VH hot water unit. The deal came with the pressure washer 150' of pressure hose with reel, 100' garden hose with reel, a 185 gallon water tank, 2 guns, a telescoping brush, misc tips all mounted on a 6.5'x12' trailer(in great shape). $4,500.00 for all of it hooked up and ready to go. The unit was always stored inside and originally set up in an enclosed trailer so it looks almost new and seems to run as new. the guy I bought it from did PW part time on weekends and said it has about 300-350 hours on it he bought it new 4 years ago. It is to late now but just wondering what you all think. Just curious. Thanks

Whether or not it's a good deal is up to you. If you don't put it to work and make a profit (about 10x what you paid for it) by using it, then it was a bad deal. If you make $45,000 with it it was a great deal! Hopefully you won't need to use the extension wand. One of the first things I learned here!

It is only a bad deal if it doesn't earn its' keep. Put it to work, and see what you can do.

Sounds like a good deal and could pay for itself within 2 weeks if you put in the effort

I'd say $4500 in two weeks is a stretch for a new business.

Yes that may be true and very hard, but nothing is impossible if you put forth the effort.

Always go for it first, ignore doubt. "I can, I will, I must"... Getting a job is no longer an option. You 2 two people counting on you to believe in yourself Josh (at least 2 in your avatar)! People aren't born champions, they decide to be... [I think I'll tweet that one]
