I have been looking for something like LoJack so if a truck or trailer is stolen it can be found but I just want to buy it, not pay a monthly fee forever and don't want to spend $1500 for it either. Technology should be there to buy this type of thing for a lot less money and not need to buy another cell phone or cell phone and account with more monthly fees. Just my opinion.
Thanks.

With this device you don't need the monitoring service. You can buy a pay as you go SIM card from T-Mobile. This will allow you to either call or send an SMS to your device. You device will, in turn send you location data. The SIM card will cost about $20 to activate and you must put $10 on the card within 90 days. AT&T, Sprint and and Verizon also have SM plans that will work for you but T-Mobile is by far the most cost effective. The device costs only $179 plus shipping.

Chris, We actually have a better deal on SIM cards than T-Mobile. You can purchase the tracking device with the card already installed for $204. The card is good for 12 months and is renewable by simply making a payment of $25.

So if I understand this, you don't need another cell phone, just the sim card to plug into this unit?

I have TMobile so would I just get another line for this device or is this something else, I would like to know exactly how this works?

So, if I had this device on my trailer, truck or something else and it got stolen, what are the steps to take to find where it is?

Thanks.

If you go with our SIM card, it will already be installed in the device when you buy it. If your trailer is stolen, all you have to do is call the device and it will send you an SMS with location. This is probably the easiest and cheapest solution because you don't have to worry about making payments every 90 days and you don't have to worry about opening another phone account.
