I saw the new FB group and have to say I'm disappointed. The politics are getting so ridiculous that it makes me sad for the industry. I know you aren't letting it get to you and I appreciate what you're doing to help others.
 
You won't see it Ron. The cowards post things about you then block you from seeing it.

These cowards have blocked me from seeing their posts. They still see mine and can respond to everyone about my posts, but I can't see theirs and expose their BS anymore.

These are the cowards I know off the top of my head.

Wouldn't it be more manly to block themselves from seeing my posts if they don't like what I am saying. The only reason to block me from seeing theirs is because they want to be able to post bull$hit without being exposed as bull$hit.

And most of that bull$hit is hints and innuendo about something they want people to believe about Ron. It has gotten old.

But thankfully those two are losing any respect they had in the industry with every day that passes. I personally don't care what people think about me. But I am fed up with the attacks on Ron.
 
Id say Ron is a better man than 99% of whoever is in that group combined. Honestly its sad that grown men have to hide in their little facebook group but funny how even in their attempt to create a little elitist club that they still make Ron the central focus of it all! Jokes on them

Sorry I was actually talking to Ron. I should have made that more clear.
 
Tony, Ron lets that stuff run off his back.

I've seen it time and time again. When he's doing something that benefits them like promoting their event or using his skills to get people exited about something, they treat him like he's one of them and feign respect to his face.

But as soon as his usefulness is complete (in their eyes) they first start by ignoring him, then eventually it leads to making snide remarks behind his back then to flat out lying about him and exaggerating things about him to the point it is ridiculous.

The most blatant and obvious of this was the PWNA. I was with him when he made a bet with Daryl that he could get 50 new members to sign up in Tampa a couple of years ago. He was treated with respect throughout the entire event. Lots of guys signed up at the event and Ron gave it all he had to try to get guys to sign up. I'm not certain of the total but I know of at least a dozen that signed up right away.

As time went by Ron went from hero to zero as soon as his usefulness was up. From the beginning the PWNA wanted no ties with Ron other than to use him to get members. Eventually they got so desperate to separate themselves from Ron that they sent Mike Hilborn on a quest to do surveillance on him at his own house and call all his competitors to try to get some dirt on him. At least 2 of the BOD of the PWNA knew about this because one of them called Ron during this time to taunt him about their "findings". Yet when this all came out they let Mike take the sword and resign in another act of cowardice on their part.

And then they had the nerve to claim that Ron only helped them add 6 members that time in Tampa.

And that's just the PWNA. There are others who have used Ron in like manner and then turned on him later.

I'm sick of it. Ron won't expose these punks for what they are. I think he believes that one day they will all get along and he doesn't want to burn any bridges.

I personally don't give a crap about any bridges. I don't want a bridge to a loser complicating my life.

So I'm the one on here complaining about it all the time. It makes me look like a jerk, I know. And I don't care. Somebody's got to do it. Otherwise these guys just keep on doing the same thing over and over again year after year in 2-3 year cycles.

Ron needs to come out of his fantasy land and mark these guys and avoid them and quit hoping for something that is never going to happen.
 
It's an endless pursuit for meaningfulness.....they are IMO so jealous of Ron and how much he actually really does help people, versus these that claim they do and actually really don't.

They claim in word they are for anything that raises the professionalism of the industry, yet in their actions they do nothing but bring it down, and in turn make themselves look like fools.

I am through with them too...TGS banned Tony this week, I am done there. Tony did nothing wrong. Except he doesn't pay money their to advertise so he can't get protection. My personal integrity and character was attacked there recently, even lies posted about me, by a staff member and it was defended and allowed to continue. I along with Tony have been called "minions" and "trojan horses" there, because we are Ron's friends and are his "followers".

I was called 2 years ago by Jim Cooney and warned about Ron, was told that no relationship with him last's longer that 1 year before people realize that Ron is just using them. Well Ron has been using me for over 2 years now, to make Houston better, to make me a better business owner, to make me a better father, and more importantly make me a better person. Oh I feel so used.

Sorry Ron, you tell me to ignore them and that you don't need defending, and don't want me to get involved that it could just cause them to go after me. Well enough is enough. I am going to be like Tony, and will stand up for you every chance I get. After all that's what you do and have done for me.

Tony Shelton, Thank you for being a man's man and constantly standing up for truth. Sorry I been a wus and not helping. I support you and consider you a close friend as well.

Then it becomes that we are nothing more than them.

If they behave they can come here. Alpha gamma is going to expand. This means all the cool stuff people will need to log in.

Pwi Is run by all, I don't need or even want people to like me. If that was my goal pwi wouldn't even be here.

Pwi cannot be matched, the industry has jumped light years ahead.

Let's not allow the hate to be returned ,it's negative for your souls and non productive.

It's actually the very thing they paint about this group as they stir the pot.

Nothing great becomes of hatred , so in essence we have already won.
We are on top, don't allow yourself to be played. This in fighting amongst and side taking is what they want. Don't let them have it.

Man, this has been a VERY long year...
Somehow, I have managed to walk a fine line. I manage to get along with everyone. It is interesting to watch, in reality. Everyone comes in, and wants Ron to help them run a roundtable, or event, then he does it once or twice, and they think that they can do it themselves, because Ron makes it look easy, and kick him to the curb.

There really is an interesting dynamic that happens in this industry. We have people that call others drama people, simply because they disagree with them. They claim to want to promote the industry and increase professionalism, and yet want to exclude others. It seems that they particulary want to exclude those that can't, or won't spend money with them.

Some of their intentions seem pure, but there are many of them that just cannot understand that someone might do something out of the goodness of their heart, without a profit motive. I guess for some that is confusing, and then will feel the need to claim someone is the dumbest person ever, and even make claims that they are thieves, or worse, because there is no profit motive.

I think that a lot of people just do not understand that if you are willing to give something away for free, whether it be knowledge, or leads, or equipment, that in all likelihood, you are going to do something that is totally a foreign concept, and receive greater rewards.

It really is sad, some of those guys called me also, warning me about Ron and how he threatened them and their business, how he got rooms for free because of the higher block prices, scams he pulls, how he makes millions a year off the round tables, etc...... It is a shame that people out there will say such lies to try to make themselves try, try to look better while bad-talking Ron.

When all the uamcc scam was exploding all over the place, I had guys call me and say lies about Ron and how he threatened them and their business and other nonsense and try to make me believe other nonsense and lies. What a bunch of losers!

When people out there bad talk Ron then get him to help them out of the kindness of his heart then kick him to the curb and continue bad talking him, it is amazing how Ron can keep on going and helping this industry with all those kind of people out there doing this kind of thing.

You also have the "cheerleader crowd" out there bad talking Ron (who is out there helping the industry, orgs and the city of Houston) while praising and cheering on people that are doing nothing to help the industry and actually trying to set it back which I just don't understand, just a bunch of ass kissers hoping to get to the top of the ass kissing pile so one day maybe some day someone will be kissing their ass which I doubt will ever happen. Saying how this person or that person is so wonderful, doing so much for the industry, they are such wonderful people, blah blah blah. What a diaper load! ! !

Sorry to hear about you getting the ban on tgs Tony, that really sucks! I don't see you doing anything wrong at all for that ban.

I am very grateful to Ron for PWI, it is such a great site and has some great SEO in it to help websites, he really has done a lot for the industry, more in the past couple of years than any org out there that has claimed to do in decades.
