Honda GX390

See I've had my gx390 for almost 6 years. I didn't have any issues with it after the first 16 months at all. Other than maintenance of course.
Lifan does make a 13 hp. but it's only $20-$30 cheaper. I wonder if that models fuel consumption is lower?

Mall things being equal, you'd have to think so

Got my Honda back from a small engine guy. Fixed it in about an hour. Said all he needed to do, was put a new gasket on and make few adjustments. Charged me $26. I'm a hack. I'll never try to fix my stuff again. I'll stick to cleaning driveways. 8 gpm here I come.

Russ and I both said it was the gaskets and you said you installed new ones. What was wrong with the gaskets you installed?

I haven't a clue. I even bought a second set of gaskets when russ said cracked insulator or gasket, changed the spark plug and proceeded to put the new gaskets on, I went inside for a second and when I came out, the gaskets were gone. They blew away! I am assuming I put gaskets in the wrong place the first time, or tore one or something. I don't even care anymore. The engine guy is 5 minutes away. I ordered a new pump and I will be hooked up for 8 gpm by the weekend, unless something else goes wrong.

Glad to hear it. Enjoy the new pump.

Thanks Chad, Thanks Ted and Russ for the help. Gonna focus on getting work and let other people deal with the P.I.T.A stuff! For god sakes I'm A.S.E certified n brakes, Steering and suspension! and I can't even change a friggin' gasket on a small engine!

Too bad that power washers don't have breaks, steering or suspension. But hey Ralph, look at this way...you're A.S.E. certified in exactly three more things than I am!

Two... steering and suspension is one category!
I figured out rack and pinion and wormgear steering systems, but I can't put a piece of paper between two pieces of metal and plastic! Go figure.

Yeah that was retarded. The gaskets were in a little plastic bag. I found the bag , but no gaskets. It was really windy. I was just so pissed off, I wasn't thinking straight.
