Hotel cleaning

I was asked today if I was interrested in biding on powerwashing a hotel today. I have to pass on it because it is to big for me. Part of it is 5 stories and the other is 10 stories. It is on the ocean and the picture is from the street and of the parking garage side. If anyone wants to come to eastern VA email me and I will give you more info. I have a real good idea what their low bid is.

Here is another picture. What would you all think is a ball park bid for this?

Just curious if anybody in the PWI does bid on jobs that size? If so how?

Is the siding stucco...if so how do you clean that? With what chemicals and power etc? I have a stucco bank to bid on, but i am concerned b/c I have never cleaned it before

My sons baseball coach has a stucco company, and I asked him the same question, he imformed me that just a bleach based housewash ie homemade, is all you need.

as with all surfaces it depends on the type of soil your trying to remove. Bleach is good for mold. Detergents are good for lifting and suspending dirt, they also allow the bleach to stick. Air polution and carbon stains from car exsaust is best cleaned with a limonlene type cleaner. Clay stains are done with buffered muratic acids. Then there are a number of custom cleaner's for other special type stain's. It's all in learning the diffrent chems and useing the least amount of pressure. As soon as you relay on just pressure your going to do the surface harm or wear [same thing].

I washed a Clarion Hotel a few months back. Stucco surface. I used a degreaser and it did a great job. Just be careful and don't use to much pressure, if the stucco is loose anywhere it chip is too much pressure is applied.

I mainly do commercial buildings. I would be happy to either help you bid it or I would bid it myself. I live in Ohio and do hotels and large buildings in several states.

Post Back. My email is justinkul@nls.net I will drive for work.

Thanks,

Justin
