How many and what size tarps?

Curious what some of you guys bring to your jobs. What size tarps and how many. I want to start looking for some and don't want to get too much to start. Plus they take up quite a bit of room. Thanks

I keep 10 (8 x 20) tarps 2 or three boxes of contractor bags 200 gallons of mix always, tools, and the regular stuff ..... hoses and pumps !

Thanks Russ. I see that Harbor freight has a 9 x 20 tarp at a good price. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm anxiously awaiting the delivery of my pump, hose and other bits. I'm now looking for a low cost reel. I also figure I'll need a portable reel with garden hose for rinsing. I'll probably also carry a small pressure washer for ground rinsing as well.

We use rolls of plastic you can get at Hd or Lowe's. We buy the 6 mil sheets and keep about 10 or so of the 10-15x25's and 10 or so of the 9x12's. The larger ones are great for hedges and flower beds and the smaller ones are great for individual plants, nice wood finish doors, expensive fans, etc...

I keep a few rolls too , I just like the tarps better because I can reuse them (I am cheap)

We reuse these for months, they (6mil) will last a pretty good time. I cut the larger ones down to make smaller ones when they get holes from roses, etc...
