How many started cold, with good chemicals, before going hot?Did your jobs go well, and the hot machines were purchased to speed things up?Or just the merits of each method,if you all don't mind.

By the way,I clean sewers and drains for a living using both cables and an older model myers trailor jetter. My reason for asking--many of my customers ask me will I wash their Bldgs.,concrete lots, etc;.and I would love to be able to oblige them.

You can clean a lot of things with cold water but having hot water can open a lot more different kinds of doors for you to make other types of accounts happen.

When you learn about the right kinds of soaps, chemicals, additives, etc... You can clean almost anything but try to get some "Labor For Learning" in your area or train with someone out of town.

There are so many new methods of cleaning that have come about in the last 3-10 years that a lot of people out there just have no clue about, especially the guys trying to sell you equipment. Some of those guys have never been out in the field and will say anything to make a sale.

If you go and learn from someone, it will shave many years off your learning curve and help you become more profitable a lot sooner.

There is a wealth of knowledge here, use that search button and read a lot of older posts, there is a lot you can learn here. Good Luck.
