can you guys wash with 5 gallons ready to use soap? Today I washed 17 trailers, (10 48' Refers and 7 36' pup Refers) with 2 gallons of Truck soap and less then 2 gallons on Alum. Brite while testing the wand I built.. I am freakkkking out! This should average 40 trailers per 5 gallons of wash and 5 gallons of AB. If my math is right that is around .42 cents per trailer of truck soap and .65 cents per of AB. I am still playing with the set up of the the wand, but I do know one thing every machine I have will have one on it by next week....

That is great Daniel, Congratulations!

I wash 6 dump trucks with 5 gallons of soap. I dont know if im charging enough though. We get $30 a truck every week 6 trucks. 1.50hours work. I hate washing trucks.

Those are good prices James.

I use Viper or Cleansol BC. Good prices like Im lowballing? The truckers say they pay $95 bucks to get them washed at a truck stop. I charge additional $20 to brighten the tanks with acid.

At the truck stop they will be nickel-and-dimed for everything that they want done.

Out in the field washing is different for the most part as these are not detail-washes, just fleet washing so they look better than they did.

For the $95 they get more of a detail wash but the truck and trailer is not detailed, Blue Beacon (streaking beacon) charges around $60 for the unit but if you want aluminum brightener, that is extra per wheel, tank, etc.... Armorall on the tires, more money, etc......They have to deal with very picky owner-operators that will point out every little thing that is wrong with the wash and have them fix it or re-wash the truck and trailer.
