Im fairly new at running my own business and was wondering how everyone handled their bid/ contracts. I have 2 part sheets. When I write a bid and leave one copy with the customer, and they decide to go with me, do I then just have them sign both copies of the bid/contract. Kind of confused. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can write up the bid and have him sign it, tell him this price is good for 30 days. If you get the job there is no further signature needed.
