Interesting they Zoned the org up like this. I know some here dont care about Stats, they make my mind think about how I can use the information.

I wonder if they have the number of place in each zone?

I see Canada is zone 10....pretty big zone. Has anyone tapped into Mexico, I'm sure there are a ton of Mexican restaurants there.:) And with all the American jobs being moved down there the restaurant industry must be booming. Possibly a zone 11........

I spent some time in England a few years ago and checked into how they did the work there. All very similar to what we see here, but the pressure washers look very different. Smaller units with lots of plastic. More electric units than gas powered, but the available voltage is 220 so it is easy for them to get high pressure / volume from electric units.
Fire systems are similar, but the extinguishers are different than what I am used to.
In France I wasn't able to meet with any KEC's but I toured several kitchens and they were similar to the English ones, many systems were retrofited into buildings that are hundreds of years old, made of stone with ductwork running outside the buildings along side the plumbing that was added a few decades ago.

Not sure what the Zones are for - will give Tim Shaw a call and find out the reason. Everthing is by state and alpha - nothing to indicate Zones.

I think that map might be an old one. There was mention of regions in the past, but I dont know if anything is in the works

Tim Shaw if out of the office this week and no one knows anything about Zones - will advise when I get some information. Old map ????

Ikeca.com is owned by Delco & does not speak for IKECA – if one want up to date info go to www.ikeca.org.<O:p</O:p

The Zone issue dates back to 2004 membership committee. In fact if you look at the list my Zone was 9. Not clear as to why this was even brought up.

Anyone actully see how hoods are cleaned in mexico or europe? It would be intresting to see how other countries deal with the issue.

I seen how there sewage system works, and thats enough for me to never want to work or vacation in that slum hole.
