hydro tek arm/handle

Not in stock...I can have a price for you tomorrow.

UuuuuuMmmmmm...... Me Too, Same Problem. Thats just weird, ain't it???

And who ever thought that David and Guy would something in common. Who's up for a group hug? :happydance:

Wow!

David, you need to stop Man-Handling those poor machines and give them a break!

I did not know you were such an animal with your equipment.

I bet that you were mad about something and in a fit of rage just tore the handle off that poor surface cleaner and threw it around.

It will be ok David, just step back from the machines.

Hahahahahahaha j/k

Hope you get a stronger handle next time.

Owen apparently I like to drive down the highway and watch the handle bounce up and down and hit one of my hose reels..never bother to secure it after each job :thud:
I always pull the pins and lay the handle down.

David a friend of mine here in town, has that exact surface cleaner, he doesnt use it, any more, I could ask him tomorrow, if he would be willing to sell it

The handle mount at the bottom, where it pins to the cleaner, is made of light gauge stainless steel, and bad welds. I really do like this surface cleaner.

I'll have the plate re-welded and reinforced, it will be fine.

$300.00+ for a handle?? No thanks.

I would extend the tubing down to the pins. You might have to reduce the size of the extension. Either way you go at this, the original design does not look quite rugged enough!

I would take the parts to a welder and show him how it is supposed to be, maybe bring a picture and have him make a new handle, either stainless or aluminum but have it built stronger.

This way it might be better than an original and maybe cost a lot less.

Plenty of re fabrication can be done to improve the ANT 3 handle's. I have yet to experience a failure. but I have several ideas in mind for mod's.

David, do I understand correctly that this stress failure happened from the handle not being folded and secured while transporting ?

Guy, sorry I haven't called you bro, just now realized I forgot to call you the other night. I've been slammed busy, not sleeping much and still dealing with my back issues. Call me when it's good for you. I'm usually available between 6 pm and 9 pm (Arizona time).
