hydrotek skid shutting off

Does it have the vacuum operated fuel pump or the mechanical one mounted to the top of the engine under the carb?
 
Check the 12v battery terminal post connections. I had the Same exact thing happening with my new Hydro-Tex skid, until I looked at the battery terminals and the negative post terminal was completely loose and Causing a short when the machine was running. Check and make sure they're tight
 
I had same thing happening to mine last year. Ron told me to switch to premium gas and wa la. Never happened again.

Also, there is a possibility of the low oil sensor causing it to cut off, either cause its actually low on oil, or the sensor could be bad, and causing a false trigger. You can check the oil of course, and then try removing the sensor from the circuit by unplugging the green/write wires that are connected together.

I was going to suggest the same thing Bob mentioned. Make sure the oil level is ok and unplug the low oil sensor and see if that helps I have had issues with those in the past on various machines.
