I Lost My Best Friend Today

Today was quite possibly one of the darkest days of my life. My best Friend of 32 years was killed when a tornado destroyed his home. He was a Son, Brother, Father and my very best Friend.....his name was Brian Batista. Please Pray for his Daughter, Dad, and Brother.

I miss you Old Buddy, you were there for me when others weren't. I Love You Man!!!

That is heart breaking news and I'm sorry to hear this and sorry for you Guy and your best buddies family for this tremendous loss. Stuff like this gives anyone a harsh smack of reality and makes you wonder why we take such small things and get pissed about them when you have loved ones getting killed every day. THis sudden harsh reality is like a reality check in life and when a life is cut down way to early like Guys best friends was it lets you see the more important things in life much clearer. Once again sorry for your loss.

His death will allways hurt when someone leaves this earth before we want them to. Remember the good times you had together and the bad times when he lifted you up. He sounds like he was a decent person or you would not of stuck around for 3 decades. We will say a prayer for you, for Brain Batista and his family.
 
Keep your chin up. Create a monument for him in your home and tell his stories regularly so he is missed but never lost.

Guy, I am sorry for your loss BUT what an awesone testimony to be able to have been best friends for 32 years. The word friend is very over used, a true friend, a real friend, someone you trust completely, is very hard to come by in this world. If your the man I think you are you would probably swap places with him in a heartbeat.

Celebrate his life and help his family to remember where there is tragedy there is also triumph. I am sure he is with the Lord today and knowing that you will be here to help him with what he left behind.

Praying for you and the Batista family that God will heal the hurt and help the family through this time of confusion and loss.
 
So sorry for your loss Guy. We saw some of the damage that was caused by the storms and heard that there were lives lost. Our prayers go out to your friend, his famlily and you.
 
Life is short, but the Love and memories, and the effect they have, lasts forever.

Our prayers are with you and your friend as well.
 
So Sorry for your loss...Great friends are hard to come by, and most people only have 1 or 2 in their lives.
