I need a new engine...Whats the best?

I have a bleepin, bleep, bleep Kohler that is driving me nuts. It is a 28hp liquid cooled engine and i dont want to deal with it anymore.

Kawasaki or Honda are what I am leaning towards, what are your thoughts?

OH BTW 28hp liquid cooled Kohler engine fore sale (lol)...It has 500 hours on it and has been brought in 3+ times for multiple issues. as of Monday it will back to par with all the bs I had to order for it....haha anyone?
 
Dang, I always thought the Aegis engines would be cool. I like my air cooled Kohlers, and have had no problems with them. I have a couple of Honda's and they are ok. The charging system does go out, and have issues with connectors. I have not tried the Kawsaki engines.

Honda's are trash. I have replaced all of my Kohlers with 23horse Vanguards this year. The Kohlers cannot run on ethanol, even with aux pumps to keep the fuel from vapor locking. The Briggs will run with Seafoam and hotter plugs. I think anyone that does this for a living can tell you why to stay away from Hondas. The new ones might have a little more life to them, but I couldn't get the local Honda rep to give me one to try or a discount on one. I bought 6 Vanguard replacements instead.

Im loving my new Vangaurds I have Hondas also and like them as well.
