Please click this link and scroll down and enjoy the wondrous irony of what these guys are doing.

Once again illustrating, the small impact of cosmetic cleaning impacts the environment exactly ZERO. (Notice the wonders of government at work as usuall with one guy doing something and another one standing around sucking air. - efficiency at it's finest!!)

Just imagine, guys, if you hadn't cleaned those two shopping centers last night, all this rain runoff would have been crystal clear and the fish would have been jumping with delight as it poured into their habitat........

But, alas.....it's all contaminated now with spilled soda pop and gum residue.

And THAT my friends, is exactly how we put it to the dimwits who banned washing in NC & SC. We were seriously able to provide a logical reason WHY washing was important. If this information is presented in a professional and calm manner - you'd be amazed at how many lightbulbs go off.

Thanks Tony :)

..does Houston Know about this ??

you will see those images at

my next Wash Water Control BootCamp !!

What an opportunity for a class action lawsuit in THAT city. Eh?

Houston to Meadows Place.jpg ..does Houston Know about this ?? LOL

Wow, "Put in perspective" would be an understatement!

Two years later it it still common sense. It will be common sense 40 years from now. Common sense doesn't vary based on the political climate.

If we only used more to common sense.

For example I can get a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt IN my car. But I can ride ON my bike.

Insanity.

I recently received a Storm Water permit. I thought it was interesting that, as long as I don't put chemicals or debris down the drain, we are okay. So, now we sweep the area, because we can't use a blower, and wash away. By the way, Hydrogen Peroxide is not considered a chemical. It neutralizes and assimilates with water so quick that it is a non issue.

Its really nice to hear someone like you Scott speaking clearly about these issues. Miss-information in our industry needs to come to a halt.

Great info Scott, Thanks.

Best investment I ever made was broom...this is my helper sweeping the other day before we did a hydraulic oil spill spil clean up. Big Thanks to Chris Collins of SMK Pressure Washing of Houston for referring the job to me.

BY the way, while were on this subject. City of Hous*on tell us that it is proven that oil socks do not work. ANybody have any documentation or reference material I can use. I mean besides all the times when they are used in major oil spills. Seems that doesnt prove anything to them.
