Improvements for clean with the rain roof cleaning chemicals

I have developed improvements for Wet and Forget types of products! If using these Quat products, here is what you do.
Simply add 1 - 8 oz cup of Rock Salt per gallon of mix. The added Salt will also help the Quat kill the algae.
But more importantly, the added Salt will dry the dead algae out like beef jerky, making it rinse away even faster!

Of course, either Tarp or water the plants before, during, and after the roof treatment, or the added Salt will kill or brown the plants around the house.

These products rely on the rain to clean the roof, and Trees stop the force of the rainwater.

I have been playing with all sorts of roof cleaning chemicals for many years, both chemicals that give immediate results like Sodium Hypochlorite, and the chemicals that kill the roof algae, and rely on the rain to clean the roof, over time.
Many of these kinds of roof cleaners rely on a chemical from the Quat family called Benzolkonium Chloride, and it's derivatives.
The way they work is you spray the roof with this stuff, it kills the Algae, and then the rain rinses it off.

My experiments have indicated that the addition of some Salt to these chemicals, makes the Algae come off faster and more completely, then roofs treated with just the chemical alone.

This may be because the salt provides an additional killing mechanism for the Algae, or perhaps because the Salt actually dries out the Algae, making it easier for the rain to remove.
