Thank you Ron

I have learned alot from you and many others.

My employees and myself are looking forward to 5year contact of pressure washing St. Augustine.

Congratulations!

Sounds like a great job, take pictures and video for your site and marketing.

Keep up the good work.

Congrats! Isn't this the one that was lowballed? What was the deciding factor?

St. Johns county picked four of the lowest bids, .025, .03, .04 and .047 per SF this is a 3 year contract with the possibility of two one year extensions. There is no clause in the contract for fuel cost increases. The SF price also includes the cost of a lift if needed. Each school can pick any of the four contractors to bid or do the job.
Last year the total the county spent on pressure cleaning was around $34,000 at .049 Sf that equals $17350 @ .025 SF

Scott last time we spoke you had 2-4gpm machines, what brand are you're 8gpm. I like my pressure pro after working the bugs out.

So can they bid .08 cents now since they are the finalist?

No, you are locked in at your bid per SF. So you have four contractors at four different sf prices and each school can chose which one to use. So most likely the .025 contractor will get most of the work if they base their decision on price.

Congratulations. This the kind of work that puts bread on the table on a steady basis. We shoot for this kind of work for our guaranteed basic expenses money.

You got it Tony, when you have employees you need this steady work. Thank you

We use to do all the pasco county government buildings years ago on a yearly bid. They use to take the most qualified companies with proper insurance for years. Now I wont even bid no more as they only want the cheapest bids, this was a great contract for years but like anything good, the county managed to screw this up. Put it this way, I use to do the Land-O-Lakes Prison for $5500.00 it took us 4 days to do with a lift. The last time I bid on it I lost to a company that won the bid for $800.00, I wrote the county a letter when they sent me out the bids again the following year. I said when you get realistic with your pricing I will start bidding again....what a joke !!

Hope it works out for you Scott, it was good for us for a few good years, then it all went to Chizit !!

Thats great new. Hopefully this translates into increased earning for all the winners. I only have 2 machines right now, an 8 gpm and a 4 gpm. I am thinking about getting another 8gpm as well. Any suggestions?
