what would everyone else pay? I know it says 11k but I spoke with the owner and he said 8.5k would buy it. of course i dont want to pay that. but assuming everything works I would use the hell out of it. I understand that equipment loses value quick. I almost bought 3 of those last year. Had a deal to pay $6500 each (assuming I would take all 3) for them and the guy sold them out from under me for $7 to $8K each out of nowhere. With that I would say they are probably worth $7500-$8000 (market value) working as they seem to sell. They were around $40K to build new from what I read and was told.
 
What kind of cleaning were you going to use it for? Some of it might be overkill if your just looking to add on to what you have. Do you have a cleaning rig already? Just trying to find out what might work best.
 
$40,000 new to build? How do you think thats broke down? I can see $6-7k maybe for the machine, $3k for the trailer. Do you think the rest of that would add up to the 40k? Its a nice rig though.
 
These were all fully custom trailers built for Sealmaxx. Custom = $$$$ - They were built to their design specs, their color scheme, decals, etc. Lots of money wasted in the process I'm sure simply because it wasn't a product designed to sell to the masses. That's not to say they were worth that new by any means but...
 
I would just be replacing the van I have now with older 4 gallon a minute machine in it. Would like to use this to do roofs rope Dex concrete houses as much as possible.
 
A guy was trying to sell off one of those in Iowa last year for over 10k. I don't think he got that for it. All the 12v set ups on there didn't fit our applications, like roof cleaning. I was told the pw was just 5gpm, 4000psi. The guy in iowa was going to use it to clean a million square foot parking garage but that fell through. I thought to myself that would take 3 weeks with this trailer. Not worth 8k in my opinion.
 
Greg was that Sealmax some sort of franchise you could buy that offered the lifetime warranty on wood sealer. There was a guy around here that had a rig identical to that and was selling a similar product. Guess what? He lasted about two years. Money not well spent besides the trailer and franchise fees on top of that.

That's exactly who it was. Most of their franchises went under as did the main corporation. They were prosecuted by the attorney generals office for false advertising among other things.... suprise suprise. They actually sold a good number of franchises so there a good number of those units out there.

Its in georgia. i will be going down soon to get it but i want to see if there is a boat, camper, trailer or something else someone needs towed down that way

Good for you Man!!!

Just so you know that Alkota is the same frame and I believe coil as the 8305 model. You could easily change the 5 gpm pump that's on there now, to a 8 gpm pump. If it was mine that would be the first thing I would do.........Just Saying.

How many miles is that drive,i just got back from jackon Ga about 3 weeks ago an i never thought i was gonna get back to Nc.Its out in the middle of no where.
 
1250 miles from me. I would like to go with someone else but I will probably go by myself. checking out uship now ( i have an acount } to see if i can pull someones trailer down that way to help with expenses.
