Those are 12v, do you have a 12v plug on your generator? I use LED work lights from ACE. 120v adjustable wing sides, 2500 lumens, and low power usage (couldn't find the spec) for those of use with limited generator power due to other electrical units on the system.

Pretty tough so far, the stands are cheapo but you could disconnect the head unit and mount it anywhere real easily.

I have buddies that use similar lights to the ones you are looking at for offroad vehicles, if you find a quality manufacturer they are great. Slim design, weather proof, very bright, etc.

I was looking into the same thing with lights on my truck

I have a 50 inch version of that on my raptor. It is VERY bright. With the current draw though, you could mount an extra battery in your truck and run for a very long time before you would have to worry about the discharge. I have run mine for a couple of hours and the truck still started without a problem.

I am beginning to think more about lighting. LED are great for drawing less current and the newer ones are really getting bright. The led rope lights I bought recently seem to light up the whole neighborhood.
