Just getting started

Greetings,

My name is Jeff Southern and I'm currently gathering as much input as possible to get my business off the ground before next spring. Im a virgin to the business other than what i do as side jobs with my Troy Built 3000 PW.

I'm looking for any and all advise in getting started on the right foot in this industry.

thanks in advance.

Jeff Southern

not to bad give me a call if you need anything, i know short notice but look at going to MB this week end, all the info you will need about pwing

We're rolling in sometime on Wednesday - looking forward to meeting you :)

Welcome Jeff! I'm also kinda new to the industry. I've pressure washed here and there like you with a troy built 3000psi I used to have. Bought the right stuff 9 months ago to get serious about it.

My advice (others on here can give you much much more than I)...
-Look for a HOT water commercial pw if you are serious about the biz (I found a Hotsy 4.8 gpm 3000psi with diesel burner for $2900, retails about $7000).
-Water tank, I started with a 275 gallon.
-***Insurance is important. I started with one million dollars liability, and $15,000 equipment coverage. It's spendy, but smart! I pay around $130 a month.
-Check your city and state for proper licensing & if you have to reclaim water.
Hope this helps...
