Can the nozzle technology used in water fountains to produce a tight, laminar stream of water be applied to medium or high pressure spray nozzles? Has anyone done this? Basically pack a bunch of "straws" upstream of the nozzle to increase surface area and decrease turbulence, then have a cone shaped filter right before the exit orifice. I'm sure it would be many times more expensive to manufacture than our jrod setups, but maybe it could throw water twice as high???
