Laser Cartridge Refills?

Do any of you guys refill laser cartridges?

We go through about $100/month in laser cartridges. I've got a lot of them laying around. The web says I can refill these at least three times which would cut our costs down to less than $20.00/month.

Have you guys done this?
 
We've been doing it for a few years now. We take them to Office Depot and we have never experienced any problems with refilling other than waiting on them to do it which does not take long at all. I would recommend it.
 
I think we're going to do it ourselves. It looks like (with our cartridges anyway) all we have to do is use their tool to make a hole and pour in the toner with a funnel.

I just ordered enough to do ours 4 times for $60.00. That's a lot better than $89.00+tax we've been paying if it works.

Especially if it only takes a couple of minutes per month.
 
I didn't know you could do it yourself. Let me know how it works out. Although it is still cheaper for us to have Office Depot do it rather than buying new, I would definitely do it ourselves if it saves even more money.
 
So far so good. It's going to end up costing me about $12.00 per refill. I can't tell any difference at all in the quality and have already gone through about half a cartridge.

Now that I know about this I think I'm going to buy a color laser.

The place I got it from was www.fillserv.com and it got here in about 3 days.
 
Careful with the refills. First measure the yield you are getting from them. Usually you can not fill them completely or they use too much ink and instead of say 2000 pages you will only get 800-1200. Also, make sure that if you start getting any lines on your page to rip that thing out ASAP. That toner powder will ruin your machine.
