To: All Current and Potential Vehicle Wash Suppliers
This notice is to update all suppliers on the current status of the US Postal Service Vehicle Wash Event. The steps involved with our pre-award process are taking longer than originally anticipated. Attached FYI is a revised list of all states showing the order in which we are proceeding with the evaluation of offers, as well as the estimated timeframe for evaluation completion. Please recall completing these evaluations is the first of several steps necessary before we can commence with awards. The additional steps include additional negotiation if necessary, requesting and examining business plans from potential suppliers to determine capability, and finally our recommendation for award letter to USPS Area/District/Field management requesting concurrence and environmental compliance review and approval. We once again request your patience as our evaluation process continues. You may be contacted in the future for additional information as needed, and will be informed in writing of contracts made within the states and locations for which your company submitted bids.
