Lessons learned from Dumpster

Really didn't seem that dirty to me....

Oh man I've been tainted by all the Chinese I service.
 
I had been thinking about color coding the different containers by main or base ingredients but need a good label for the buckets and other containers.

I am thinking about the Gamma Seals for the color coding of the buckets (the Gamma Seals come in many different colors and are air tight so you can have powders or liquids in the buckets) but I still want labels for the buckets and then labels and tags for the pump up sprayers.

I like the pump up sprayers for small areas that are not worth the effort for downstreaming or using the X-Jet or have too many delicate surfaces around them.

My caustic soap can sit in the sprayer without being rinsed ever, never had trouble.
 
I will be there, I got my plane ticket at the beginning of the month.

It is going to be great! Lots of great people there, lots of great ideas and info to learn and the potential for income is not limited too much, if any.

I am very excited about going, I am arriving Wednesday March 25 and leaving on Monday March 30 so I can learn more from Tony.

In case your wondering I mix 2 to 1.............8 pounds SH to 4 ounces of water................melts ALL grease.
 
Smokehouse Plus should be color-coded purple.
 
Depending on the work for that day, I could have 6 different chemicals on the trailer so I just want to be safe and careful since I am getting more calls for work out of town.

The State Troopers are doing more inspections of trailers on the highways and those containers have to be labeled when having chemical liquids or powders in them. It does not hurt to be overly careful.

Anyone find a brand of label that does not fade when getting wet or fading in the sunlight?

You'd end up with a caustic paste....and it would be deadly.
 
I had not seen those at the office supply stores, those might work.

I will give them a try and see how they work. I just want to have the info on the label, a couple guys that had chemical containers in the trailers did not have the containers labeled and they got fines from the State Troopers.

I want to avoid that by having all containers and tanks labeled, fines and tickets are going up more and more each year, this would be some cheap insurance from that happening.

Even if they only lasted 6 months or so, that would not be too bad.

John T should make and award and give it to him. lol.

It's hard to believe this was 3 1/2 years ago. Chris eats these for lunch now. He's the emergency spill cleanup vendor for a large grease containment company now and is frequently called to casinos for emergency spills.

This post also reminds me that I met Ron about 4 years ago. All these guys who claim they "know" Ron because they've seen him 5 times in the last 10 years or just read his posts, or spoke on the phone just make my laugh. I can't count the days Ron and I have spent together.

Until you've seen Ron get up in the morning and sit at a laptop in his tightie whities, you don't know Ron.

And Ron, I want to thank you for the time you've spent with our family. One of Fayth's fondest memories is when you took them to Circus Circus. She still talks about it, and that was a LONG time ago.

I know you spent a lot of time on the phone with Jill this week too. If they get that $120k account it will be because of your help and patience. She and Chris had no idea on how to price an account that large, but you took the time and had patience. Thank you.

You've always been a perfect gentleman around Shelly. If anyone else took Shelly and Jill out to the Casinos till 4am I would have been worried. But, just like Fayth, Shelly remembers that night fondly and is forever thankful.

And little things like when we promised we would take you (and your wife) out to dinner and you knew we were going through some financial difficulties and you ordered about the cheapest thing on the menu. You probably didn't think I noticed that, did you?

I could go on and on with hundreds of great memories.
