Any you pw have the Signature Series on the 18hp 5.6 @ 3,500.

I not sure but the deal is $2,395 minus 15% off = $2,036 plus I thing they are offering free shipping? I cant make it out what there sales are.

Is this pw geardriven or direct drive? # 564118k

Scott, I got the gear drive, 18hp Kohler idle-down, with a TS2021 from espec a few months back. I've put 200 hours on it with no issues. Great little powerhouse with a small footprint (running it in a cargo van). I can't get to the papers right now but I'm pretty sure it was closer to 3k for it with free shipping. The idle-down is the main reason I wanted it and its paying off. Fuel consumption way down.

I guess it depends what it is.
I have a guy that is local and has a box truck he can bring me anything I need but there is a time factor problem. Plus he has help me out many times, I like to buy from him cause he is right up the street.

But I have been getting some supplies from and will start sending him is..

Hi Tide that unit espec sells has a gearbox on it.I bought one with a gearbox after having belt drive units and it is fine.My friend has a gearbox from there and its 5 years strong.Kohlors are great motors.
 
New catalog from enviro spec signature series is now $2,895. ouch

Fuel savings of $2,500 a year. I wonder how many hours it would take to save that kind of $$?
 
A lot. I you have functioning, paid for equipment, it is silly, in my opinion, to buy small equipment, or trucks, for fuel savings.

We have 2 18hp 3200 psi cold water gear drive units on one of our trailers with many,many hours on them. They are serviced regularly and have no problems with them. The reason we went with the gear drives was for saving space and they do. For that price I might buy a spare!
