Marketing to Banks

I'm preparing my first ever sales aid. It's an information sheet that I'm developing to be handcarried to banks in my area to solicit contracts for cleaning their drive thru's. Would anyone please share with me you have used that might be of help to me. I certainly appreciate it. I'm trying to move beyond residential only business.

I just made my first sale to a local bank. I didn't even have any marketing material. I walked in, asked who could help, made my pitch, walked away with what will probably be a quarterly job. That would be $1,000.00 bucks a year. I still want something on paper.
 
I would appreciate any help you would be willing to give me. I've pressure washed residential for several years but the only commercial business I've done in the past is for those folks that call me. I expected that a phone call to a first-time client wouldn't get me very far.

This here gave you some tips to get in the door on a larger scale.

Ask that manager if they have a maint dept or purchasing dept.

Once you get to know Ron he can be a lot of help. He gives a lot of advice out but sometimes they can be subliminal so pay attention.
 
lets see Ron has helped me make ........... well lets just say over 100k in the last 6 months alone , since I have been a member here since 2006 I have made over 375k from PWI alone !

I've decided my two new best friends are going to be Russ and Ron.

I know that Ron is not trying to discourage you in your endevors, but I know first hand that banks are a totally different bird altogether. If you bank at a chain bank, notice that within a year at bank that all the people will have all changed but maybe 2 or 3. They change ownership from day to day and get bought out so frequently and the days of the local bank and banker are far gone and very few in between.

Most all banks outsorce all their janitoral and landscaping to people like big property management companies like jones, lange, lassalle who do nothing but Nationwide property management and award their contracts on a state or multi-state bid. Most of the chain banks around here don't even have anything "extra" like PW done on a regular basis, if any, sad to say. There is still some of the small banks that have one or two branches that still will do things the "old fashioned way", but Ron Musgraves is definitely not trying to discurage you, just giving you the reality....
