Meeting Networking Williamsburg, VA Round table

Saturday, November 13, 8 am to 4 pm

I have contacted the Holiday Inn in Williamsburg to have a round table meeting on Saturday, Nov 13. It is a new hotel with just the right size meeting room that can hold 20 to 50 people. This will not be a large round table like Ron holds. I am hopping to draw con tractors from North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland. Others are welcomed, I want you to know that it is not like Tampa or Myrtle Beach. There needs to be cap of 50 people. There will be a small charge of about $25 per person. This will include lunch. All money will be used. Registration will start in September. If we have enough attendance, the meeting room will be free.

I am able to get things arranged but if I do all of the talking everyone would leave after listening to in 15 min. I need help in presentations and scheduling for the day. Please let me know what you can do or if anyone has something they would like to share please e-mail me. If any suppliers would like to come you are welcomed also.

About the hotel:
This Holiday Inn & Suites is only a year old. They have an indoor pool and a restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The will serve lunch for a group. Room rate will be $79 until 2 weeks before then as available. More info to come on the hotel. Williamsburg has a large outlet center, Prime Outlets and also Historic Colonial Williamsburg, so if family comes there is something to do. Busch Gardens will be closed preparing for their Christmas season.

Great Job Lenny, I will definately be there. I would also be willing to help in any way that i can, I'm sure i dont have the expertise of some of the other folks in the industry but i will be happy to contribute what i can. I would like to have someone speak/teach about cleaning and staining wood. this is an area i'm still working to perfect. Thanks!!

Amazing! 8 years after a thread on a Newport News Roundtable, it looks like there will actually BE one! Sounds great Lenny. I'm willing to give a short class on downstreaming/house washing. If we wash your house, I can bring my 8gpm/3000psi rig to play with. A really cool door prize might be a gift card for M&L (Landa of Tidewater) or maybe someone further west.

Williamsburg around Thanksgiving is beautiful. I would highly recommend folks bring their families, there is lots to do.

Are you thinking all classroom? Or will we be able to have some hands-on? If possible, morning class and afternoon washing? As a tribute to Steve Rowlette, maybe dinner at Hooters? (Do they allow Hooters in Williamsburg? Not a dry town, but very conservative area.)

Great idea John!!! I will bring one of my rigs too. I can do a class on Residential Sales & Marketing. It will give me a chance to see my sister in Smithfield Va. also!

Really great idea Lenny, this is how round tables started. Just a bunch of Contractors getting together sharing info and ideas. Should be a lot of fun.

John, Hotters is across the street from the hotel. My house is a little far to do a demo. I will see if we can so something there.
I hopping we have someone that can show the best way to rebuild a pump. Brian has done it, i am not sure if it was a complete rebuild or mjust partial.
This will come together. I will be in touch.

Lenny, you can put me down for 1 and a possible

This sounds like it could be fun, I should be able to make it down there. Lenny, if there's anything I can help with or if you want me to do a seminar on add on services, marketing, SEO or something let me know. I'm planning on putting together an event in Maryland sometime in the spring for 3 or 4 days with a bunch of training/educational stuff.

Lenny count me in and willing to help if you need it.

I will be there. I can show off our trailer setups
