If you aren't using a moisture meter at this time of year in most areas of the country you are not using the most important piece of equipment in your arsenal. If it is cost there are some cheaper ones that you do not have to break the bank for and will help you tremendously and take the guess work out of "should I or shouldn't I?"

I am not sure of any brand names. there is no reason for ME to spend 200 dollars when all I want is the moisture content.
