Chris, it is made so that there is just enough room by the cab to put a 2x4 between the cab and the skid. This puts the other end right at the tail gate. I drove around (w tanks empty) slamming the brakes, taking some sharp turns etc. It don't move. I am planning to have my fab guy rig something so it's bolted down yet is also easy to remove when I want to take it out.

I was going to guess a 2x4 to keep it from hitting the front of the cab.
