Neat Scanner?

Its very accurate technology and does a good job reading and filling things in. Still have to double check to make sure it is correct. Gas station receipts print zeros with a line through the middle so it reads it like an 8.

I stopped using mine because I couldnt keep up with it. Now I have someone that puts my receipts in quickbooks for me.

I still use the neat for business cards which puts contacts in my outlook which syncs to gmail and my phone so thats nice

Have you contacted them to see if they could fix it, or are you able to change the amount when it scans it. We also are thinking about getting one. Also does the scanner work with quick books?

Yea you can change anything it reads, it just puts everything in a form with various categories and you approve it

The girls in our office use it every day. They have it linked, somehow, to quickbooks and they love it. Good addition to the office.

Thanks guys. We will probably get one now. Although there is something satisfying about throwing boxes of receipts on the table in front of the IRS auditor and telling him to have fun.

Any problems with that brand of scanner over time?

When they first came out there were a lot of bad reviews of the mechanism that feeds the paper through it wearing out very fast.

Maybe that has been fixed by now?

It would be nice to just scan the receipts and have them go into quickbooks.
