Some things to consider for fleet washing is how prepared your are. Do you have a large enough water tank and the truck to pull it? How much are you planning to invest? What kind of machine do you have or are thinking about purchasing? ( hot/cold and g.p.m.'s) How many feet of hose? What type of system are you going to use to 2 step? Let me know what you have already purchased or plan too and this board will be of more help.

2 stepping is the application of an acid to break the dirt bond with the vehicle and it is followed by a soap application with neatrilizes the acids and allows the dirt to run off of the vehicle, minimizing or eliminating any brushing.(if the stuff you buy works) You will have to check around to see if anybody local has the supplies you need and if their product works, as not everybodies does. How you apply it, how well it works and how much you pay can make a big difference in your profitibilty, so research it well.

When you are bidding accounts do not go in with the intention of low balling the current washer. This means you make less money and hurts the overall industry. Offer a good service at a fair price and you will get customers. There are a lot of fly-by-nighters and low ballers out there but many customers are not happy with the level of service they are receiving, make service and reliabilty your #1 selling point and stick to it.

I would be happy to answer more questions for you, just e-mail me at Mid Valley Mobile
