Need a new tip or extension, looking for recommendations.

If it was fresh that should have jumped off there and just a light rinse would have handled it.Do you think the mix was perhaps bad i got 23 drums over a period of time from univar. We went back an forth an then they tested a drum i brought back and i was right. However only you would know that.Like Guy said looking at the size of the target you need to hit a 15/30 would laying a good coat of chemical on those thin rails.

THE 4 GPM KIT INCLUDES: 0040 (SOAP HIGH), 0010 (RINSE HIGH), 2540 (SOAP LOW), 2510 (RINSE LOW) - From PressureTek

Anyone recommend a different selection of tips? Larry, you mentioned a 0030, would that work better than the 0040?

0030 will get you a little more distance that's why I like it. 0040 will work fine as well.

The larger orifice nozzles will let you soap up high and you can use them to rinse with lower pressure but you have to turn off the soap line or take the hose out of the tank/bucket as that nozzle will allow the injector to pull chemical. This means more trips to/from the truck or trailer. I like to rinse with low pressure, that is how I do things, you can do what you want to.

You can order any nozzles you want, the distributors will sell you what you want. I mostly use the 0040 and 1525 for house washing, up close and up high for soaping and rinsing.

You can buy different nozzles so that you can rinse with high pressure instead of turning off the soap if you want, you can use the nozzles that were recommended to you, it is all your preference.

When we paint interior staircases, we run a 16' or 20' ext ladder from one of the lower treads straight up. Then we lay a 2x12x16 from the landing thru a corresponding rung opening on the ext ladder for a Poor Man's scaffold. That same 2x12x16 will cross most pools & will hold most workers, even at midpoint. You can either set it directly on the pool deck, or between a couple of ladders at whatever height you need.

No no no, with the proper spray tips none of that is needed!

Try it. Anything under two stories you don't need a tip. Just pop out the nozzle and spray.

They are not running those 8 gpm washers like you. Built for speed

This has to be the worst pool enclosure I've ever done (even though it looks simple enough). I'm almost ashamed to mention that I used 10 gallons of SH on this monstrosity and still need a little more. Some of the frame just laughed at the mix (20% + soap) and needed to be brushed.

A couple of the rails in the cage are just out of rinsing range (even using a 0 tip). I suppose I need to design a portable bridge (on wheels) to get those hard to reach spots. All in all it turned out great. Customer was elated with the results.

Looks nice by the way

Was out working on my equipment just now and did a little test. With my 8gpm machine and a 0050 tip I was able to spray 70 feet down my driveway. When I get a chance I'll measure how far back from my house I can hit the top of my gable at about 26 feet high.

Derrel, if you ever need anything just pick up the phone and I will do the same. It was great meeting you today!!!

I really enjoyed meeting you and Carol as well. I know there's a lot of really nice people out there, but meeting them in person makes all the difference in the world.

I thought it was interesting to watch what we do being done by someone else (especially someone with a lot more experience). It's never as easy as it looks.

Funny you should say that.... I was looking for "all the trucks" when I got there, but to my surprise there was only the one (with trailer).
My Betsy gets a lot done. Lol... Got those 3 buildings and concrete done like I said and also went and did that pool enclosure and deck. Got done around 4:00 pm. Me is beat. I know my wife and the guys are too.
