Need Advise on Specifications for a Surface Cleaner

This will be my first surface cleaner. I am shopping for a 15-18 inch surface cleaner with vacuum recovery capability. I would like to run a max. of 3500-4000 psi @ 4-5 gpm cold water. How much flow max. would be advisable for a 15-17 inch surface cleaner? What can i run for min. pressure and flow to make a 15-17 inch surface cleaner still work good ? How much vacuum cfm would i need to make a 15-17 inch surface cleaner recover great at 5 gpm. or at the max. recommended flow rate for this size of surface cleaner.?
Other than the quality of the components is their any difference in the many different makes as far as cleaning ability?

Sirocco makes a 12" and a 21".
Steel Eagle has an 11", a 16", and a 24".
Hydro Tek has a 12" and a 24.5"
