Hello everybody. I currently own a floor care business with minimal pressure washing. I am thinking about transitioning over to pressure washing with possibly a focus on fleets. Really interested in learning more about fleet and rail car washing. We do have big truck washes about an hour east and west of us. My live along an interstate so I have been wondering about getting business off the interstate as well.

I have been searching the listings locally and don't see any mobile washing services near by. Of coarse there might be some that are not listed. I do think there is a member here that is about 40 mins from me. Looking for to learning and doing some research before jumping in. The floor cleaning has been decent but I do have local competition and just looking at the washing since there doesn't seem to be anyone around. I have a ton of questions but will try to ask them in the appropriate sections here.
 
Thanks for the welcome. I do need to do some research to see if this is something I can get into. I would have to buy a new machine since my cleaning machine now only has a Cat 5cp pump (4gpm-2500psi) I live in a small town of 3500. The next town 20 away is about 70,000 and I figure that might be the best place to try and get work. Would going from a business like mine to fleet washing be to big of a jump at one time. I will keep my current floor cleaning business so I will still have an income. Other than what is on this site is there anything on the net I should check out and read. Any articles or anything. I have briefly looked at the PWNA's site and also looked at Paul Horsely's site. I don't know if any of that correlates to this site or not. Any help or advice as to what direction to look towards is welcome. I am reading all kinds of stuff on the net currently and try to comb through it.
