New hydrotek sc 3009kaf pressure question

Ive got a new hydrotek sc3009kaf, 8gpm hot water skid with a kohler 27hp and generator..... Tried the burner for the first time today on a fleet wash.... We were using a turbo nozzle, but when we turned the burner on, the turbo nozzle seemed to lose pressure - kind of sputtering With the burner off, goes back to full power. I put a pressure gauge right at the output of the burner, and it read 3000psi, even when the turbo nozzle was fizzling. Anyone know why?

What brand turbo nozzle? What size is the orifice in the turbo nozzle? And what temp were you trying to run?

Hey guys,
I have a crack/hole on my 5.5KW generator tank that's mounted under truck and I will not be able to fix it for a week or so...I have to go with 100' electric cord to supply the power for my burner (Hydrotek SC 3500Psi 8GPM).
The question that I have is what is the proper size/gauge of the cord for that need without causing any damage to machine/burner? I'm thinking 14 gauge should work but just to make sure....
Thanks
