Am I the only one or does this happen to everyone. I log in and hit the new posts link, I read a few and then maybe post in a thread. After posting or reading a few posts I'll click the new posts link again and all the posts are gone that I haven't read yet. Why do they disappear if I haven't clicked on them? For a solution to the problem I have to hit the back button a bunch of times to find the posts I haven't read yet. Just wandering why its like this only on this board? It sucks and its time consuming so sometimes I just log out. Please help.
 
It happens to me too. Usually I'll just use the back button out of hand anyway, but it does get irritating when I can't be here a day or two, and there is a raft of new posts up, and the go to first unread button goes away.

In other words, I'd like to see them take longer to time out on one search.

Does that make sense?

I was having the same prob. Then by mistake I guess, I clicked on
pressure washing institute on the left side above new post link and
there you go they were there.

PWI allows you to set the controls yourself. Customize the settings.

Other BBS dont allow looks at members or allow searching with out a wait.

PWI has a certain amount of freedom, Not to bash folks but allows you access to most everything.

The problem is like wizes, similar anyways. Should we just shove one look down everyones throat?

This has been a problem for awhile, I remmeber when it was the other way and people complained about the e-mails.

I personally think the way its set up is ok. I use that same feature on Beths BBS. I just hate the waiting 30 seconds between searches.

Russ, one thing you have to remember is that when you change something for one maybe 20 others will not like it.
Your call, maybe a poll??????
 
I like it on beths. You can read a post and then click new posts to get right back to the next one in line without going back
