New PW Recommendations

Looking for recommendations on a new PW rig. Skid mount, will go on our flatbed.
We are first and foremost a Roof Cleaning company. Our roof cleaning rig The unit will be used for several purposes...

First, as gods own plant wash down unit.
Second, to generate add on sales from driveway and siding washes.

We do 90% residential but do take on commercial and multi family work.
I have been told cold is fine. I have been told Hot is what we want. I have been told 5 GPM is fine. I have been told 8 GPM is what we need.

Landa is about 250 miles close to us and there is a Landa 2-1100 Hot seed unit on Craigslist for about $3k.

Recommendations?

Water Dragon from www.powerwashstore.com Excellent machines, I really like my three, and the prices are fair.
As for volume, we only have 5 gpm machines. I have not used a 10 GPM machine, but no doubt more is better in this instance. You definitely want Hot Water and 3000 PSI for whatever machine you get.

Just my personal opinion.

I looked at the CL ad unit that I think you're referring to. If the model # is correct it is fired by natural gas. If so, Bzzt.

I'm in Portland, which is where Landas are made and the dealer that I think you're referring to is located. Portland is also home to the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers. Their slogan/motto is Rip City!

If you really want a Landa, call Phil Kircher at: (800) 984-2612

Okay...I must be missing something. The Water Dragon is a low pressure, high volume pump setup. I have 35GPM with my 1" AODD setup at low pressure. Do they make a Hot Water Dragon?

The unit I am seeing is Diesel Fired, but uses an electric pump. That is not a total deal killer as we can run an inverter off the diesel truck batteries if there is no outlet available.

Water Dragon is ALSO a hot water skid unit from Paul at Powerwashtstore.com

Do you by chance have a link to them as I cannot locate them on their website, even with the search function. It just comes up with the low pressure high volume units under Water Dragon.

Also...why Hot Water? For the purposes we are putting the machines to, what advantages will using hot water bring me? There is a doubling of price. Willing to spend the extra if it is significantly more productive versus cold water and chems.

Way more productive and less soap use. I don't know that they have them on their page yet. You might need to call them for a spec sheet.
Also, an inverter on a battery will not be nearly enough to power a hot water pressure washer.

The inverter idea is a bad one as mentioned, don't waste your time or money and go the generator route if you are doing an electric pressure washer. A small home depot electric pressure washer would work, this won't due to a larger electric motor and running a burner as well.

Water Dragon is the line of equipment, we make all types of units under that name. This is what the new slimline looks like. (you can see one of our truck skids in the back too)

This one here is one of the full frame hot units with the integrated twin pump and hose reel platform 2-55 gallon chem tanks and 100 gallon water tank. This unit will fit in the back of a short box pickup.

Okay...so I take it, this isn't on the website yet? I see Hydrotek Cold, Hydroblaster Hot, Pressure Pro Cold, Pressure Pro Cold and Hot, AR Electric, Shark Hot Water Skids, Water Heaters and Largo Pressure Washers...but no Water Dragon other than the Low Pressure/High Volume Applicators.

Could you PM me with a Quote on the Slimline, along with Specs, so I know pricing please? Shipping to 98229....Bellingham WA.

Any other pics of that great hot water Water Dragon? That is impressive!
