Good morning, guys! Thank you for allowing me on the forum.

My name is Dusty and I live on the Florida East Coast. I worked for a high end professional pressure washing company for about 3 years off and on all through out college. We focused on very expensive homes, offering very detailed services. I learned the craft there and had a wonderful boss who was very patient with me. (If you're reading this Chris Lush, you're the man!)

Now that I'm done with school and am working the day time desk job, I am trying to start up my own side business. As a teacher, I will have summers off, and every weekend to make the extra money.

My question to you all:

Which equipment do you recommend? The only thing I regret is not knowing more about the equipment we used. I asked several questions to the boss back in the day and learned quite a bit but I never had to make the purchases.

My side business will look like this- 1 man. 1 truck. I can NOT afford a trailer right now and don't really see the point unless I'm running a monster operation.
I would like to focus on the one story 2000 sq foot homes which is the majority of my area's demographic. My services would included pressure washing and surface cleaning.

Which Pressure washer (specs included) and surface cleaner do you recommend. Any brands of hoses I should look for? I will obviously have to buy more then what those machines come with! Any other suggestions would be appreciated as well.

Thank you all for your time!

Welcome, this is a great forum. Lots of information on brands of hoses/ other equipment in past threads, search for a few of them using the search bar at the top.
But I'm sure everyone will be glad to help you with questions

in the meantime, fill out your signature. You can do this in settings / edit signature.
Good luck !
